Chloe Hong Su 

has been Interpreting and Translating for over 20 years.  Born in Beijing, after graduating from Beijing University with a degree in English she worked for different Government organizations and including visits to Europe translating and interpreting, especially in heavy engineering technology and commercial negotiations.

Later living in the United Kingdom she worked for Harvey Goldsmith Entertainments, and has appeared on UK television on tours of the Shaolin Monks. Her work took her into business consulting, joint ventures, light engineering and multiple product lines including cosmetics in the fields of both Import and Export.

Later, living and working in New Zealand she worked for Auckland Health Authority and later with high level Government Officials, such as the Right Honourable Jenny Shipley (former Prime Minister of New Zealand), the Maori Queen, Dame Te Atairangikaahu, the Hon Dover Samuels (Minister of State),  the Hon Lianne Dalziel (Minister of Immigration), the Hon Parekura Horomia (Minister of Maori Affairs).  She has also worked at Auckland University of Technology with visiting Chinese VIP delegations in conjunction with Training Courses for China Entering the World Trade Organization.  Now working in Beijing China she is actively involved in translation and interpreting for government departments and companies.

Chloe is married with a child and lectures in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting in a leading university in Beijing.

Qualifications: 

• M.A in Linguistics
• Bachelor of Arts in English
• MBA Course. Quantitative Analysis, Interpersonal Skills, Accounting, Finance and Human Resource Management.
• Member of Institute of Linguists United Kingdom 1994
• Member of NZ Society of Translators & Interpreters 2000
• Advanced Certificate in Health Interpreting 2002
• NZQA Registered
